"Everything, everyone, and every place has a soul and a story to tell"
Film is a medium that transcends the boundaries of time and space, allowing us to explore the depths of human emotions, experiences, and the uncharted territories of our dreams. To me, it is a journey of the senses and the soul, and as a Production Designer, it is my mission to create worlds that complement the narrative and elevate it to a higher plane of artistic expression. It is to bring the Director's vision to life and translate this to the screen. Translate the script into visual representation so actors can develop their characters and tell a story. It is a relationship between characters, story, and environment. My job is to create the body (set) for the soul (story). Every project is a unique canvas; I am committed to adapting my artistic style to each project's unique demands, meticulous research, and delving into history, culture, and the psychological underpinnings of the narrative. This knowledge informs every detail, from the architecture of the sets to the choice of props, colors, and textures. It is a privilege to bring such dreams to life and transform scripts into visual poetry alongside directors, cinematographers, and the entire production team.
